The Library is a Registered Charity called the “Friends of Castle Cary Community Library” which is governed by its Trustees. The Trustees are accountable to the membership, (the “Friends”) at an annual general meeting.

Membership of Castle Cary Community Library gives you access to books and so much more. You will also have access through Libraries West and RBdigital to books and magazines for offline reading. Free internet is available in the library.

Joining the library could not be easier. Call in and use our services straightaway after completing a registration form. You will be provided with an exclusive pin number enabling you to borrow books from thirty two libraries and to access digital services.
